As an illustrator and an artwork lover, I’m actually drawn to the mid-century/50s and 60s gouache work featured in plenty of youngsters’s ebook illustrators. I drew inspiration from all of them and at all times had a bunch of Instagram tabs open to reference again to. I drew the Mayhem first, deliberately limiting myself to solely 2 or 3 colours.
