Moby Preps New Album Future Quiet

Moby has tiptoed into the studio for a brand new, largely ambient album, Future Quiet. Out February 20, the follow-up to his equally minimalist Ambient 23 takes cues from Cocteau Twins and This Mortal Coil, the producer says. That tune, initially sung by Mimi Goese on Moby’s Every part Is Flawed, has had a streaming resurgence since its sync within the first season of Stranger Issues (and reprisal in season 4). Moby elaborates on the album’s influences in a press launch:
