Deep breath. My upcoming e-book (The right way to Be Okay When Nothing is Okay) is popping out subsequent month and I’m going on e-book tour!
I’m each terrified and excited in equal measures as a result of my final e-book got here out throughout covid so I’ve not been on an actual e-book tour in over a decade.
What do I put on? Do I take the chance to purchase a sequined kaftan as a result of it’s the one manner I can justify it to myself? Do I put on that pretend hair fall that I purchased as a result of once I get scared I begin sweating and my tremendous skinny hair seems to be like I’m straight out of the bathe despite the fact that it’s fairly apparent that it’s not actual hair in any respect? If I put on the pretend hair and it will get too sizzling do I simply take it off mid-reading and pet it prefer it’s a service animal for my anxiousness? Do I hand over and simply go in my daytime pajamas as a result of that’s who I actually am anyway? Am I speculated to know the way make-up works by now? The right way to scientists measure clouds? Why are all of the c’s in “Pacific Ocean” pronounced in a different way? WILL ANYONE EVEN BUY THIS BOOK OR COME TO SEE ME? These are the questions that hang-out me at evening.
